To further make an impact on the genre, Fortnite made some keen advertising moves that were some of the best that any gaming company has made. Did we mention that Thanos was made part of the game for a short period of time as well thanks to the Avengers Endgame movie? And who could forget when Marshmello hosted an in-game concert where almost 11 million players attended? The great thing about Fortnite is they always try to stay relevant. Patches and updates are normal for online games to have, but Epic Games decided to step up even further by providing weekly updates. While it can be a hassle for the players since they always have to update their game in Epic’s client, the unpredictability of what Epic brings in to the table routinely shakes up the gameplay. In some weeks, there’ll just be a new item or two that’ll be added, but there will also be some cases wherein an entire area could be added while another would be altogether removed. Besides the new skins that they consistently churn out, the lengths that Epic Games has gone through for Fortnite shows how dedicated they are to their craft—and the fans reciprocate with their loyalty.

If you can’t find a shield jug anywhere during the first few minutes of the game, then why not stop by Slurpy Swamp if you’re nearby? Blue goo can be found all over this location, and it’s unlimited! Just find a glowing riverbed around the area and submerge yourself in it. This will slowly heal you back to full health and even your shield meter! There are also vats filled with this magical goo that you can destroy with your pickaxe, so call in your friends beforehand to let everyone have a health and shield!

Fortnite Battle Royale – Maze Run Halloween Update!

You know what October means, right? It’s the time when everything gets just a little bit spookier, but with a touch of unbridled merriment and the promise of candy for your sweet tooth! There are costume parties, trick or treating adventures, horror movie binges, and endless cycles of scary pranks. It’s a time to enjoy being a kid as well as being a kid-at-heart.

It’s impressive that this game was only made by 5 people. Not only that, one of those five is actually a 10-year-old kid. They draw up maze layouts on Unity and subsequently made sketches for the UI. Believe it or not, PoE’s player base increased over 40%! The increase occurred after March 17, 2017, with the release of Patch 2.6.0. The game reached a peak of 113 thousand players. Steam Charts also show that Path of Exile reached a peak of 70 thousand players (150.46% in growth) in the last 30 days. Given this information, it must be noted that the game is not available in Steam in certain countries around the world, so it is a very respectable number!
